It is a
new season, so get fit. You may be one of those people who have their weight
kind of sneak up on you. One day you step on the scale and you weigh 145 then
the next time, maybe several months later you weight 155. You don’t feel you
have been eating any more. Maybe you have not been eating more but you have not
been staying fit. Perhaps you let a part of your fitness routine lapse. Perhaps
you changed some part of your fitness routine or dropped it altogether.
It
should be easy to get into a fitness routine, but unfortunately most of us do
not have the mindset to engage in this sort of thinking. Every day we are too
busy or overwhelmed with our daily routine to allow any changes to it that would
take up more time. Well believe it; a fitness routine does not have to be time
consuming. If you only walk up and down some steps several times a day on a
daily basis you will have increased your expenditure of calories than if you
didn’t do it.
You can
get a hula hoop and engage in some hooping. It’s a fun activity and a great and
easy routine for the waist and legs. Just do it for ten to fifteen minutes a day
every day. All it needs is a small amount of room so the hula hoop doesn’t hit
anything and knock it over.
There
are simple things you can do like parking in a grocery store or other store
parking lot so you have to walk to get into the store. Then you have to walk
back to your vehicle. You can walk around the block in the evenings if you live
in a safe neighborhood. You can do
these things and they don’t cost you anything but a small amount of time.
You will
be amazed at how much difference a small amount of time invested in a fitness
routine, however slight, will reward your body and your mind set. In time you
will want to do more.
