Fitness Fanatics
Get yourself motivated to
start a fitness routine. You will feel better, look better and all around be
much healthier.
The first step is to act
like you are a complete fitness fanatic. Live, eat and breathe fitness. Even if
you have not worked out in five years and you are extremely overweight, it does
not matter, act like a fitness fanatic. By following this train of thought you
will think about what you are going to put in your mouth before you do it and
you will start to exercise.
Take an afternoon and go
shopping for fitness clothing. When you have certain fitness clothing that you
workout in, you will get into a mindset that it is time to workout. You will
also be more comfortable when you wear workout clothing while exercising.
You want to read about
exercise as much as possible. You can simply type in ‘exercise’ or ‘fitness’
into Google or another search engine and you will get loads of helpful
information. You will learn fitness tips, fitness routines, nutrition and more.
You may choose to subscribe to a fitness magazine or two as well.
Get into a fitness contest
with your friends, family members and/or co-workers. Keep track of how much you
exercise and how long you exercise. You may want to measure yourself and weigh
yourself beforehand as well to compare your results.
If you believe in a cause,
join the walk or run if your cause has one. This will give you something to look
forward to and prepare for fitness wise. Not only will you be helping to raise
money for a good cause but you will get yourself in shape while doing it.
Join a sport you enjoy. You
can choose from volleyball, baseball, tennis, swimming or some other type of
sport. You will have fun socializing while you work on becoming more fit.
Make yourself look in a full
length mirror every day when you are naked. Turn to the side. Do you like what
you see? If not, this should help to motivate you to become and stay an active
fitness fanatic. Plus, as you are looking in the mirror day to day, you will see
the changes in your body for the better.
All of the above items will
help you become a true fitness fanatic. You will enjoy being more healthy,
alert, active and being in excellent shape.
