You have the option to play so many fitness games to get you motivated to exercise and move around. If you cannot get into the exercise mode, try some of these fitness games and before you know it you will be exercising.

Have some good old fashioned fun with burlap sacks. You and your family and friends can have races with the burlap sacks. Simply have a starting point, have each person stand in a burlap sack and start hopping to a destination. Have the person come back to you by hopping in the burlap sack. This person will be the winner in this fitness game.

Do you have any old tires lying around? If so, you can challenge each other with a tire rolling race. You will move fast as well as use your arm to roll the tire as quick as you can.

Get out the hula hoops for many fun fitness games. You can challenge others to see who can do the hula hoop the longest around their waist. Next see who can do the hula hoop around their arm for the longest. Some people can even do the hula hoop around their neck. Place the hula hoop around your ankle and see how many times you can jump over it without stopping it.

Play some music and let the musical chair game start as another one of the fitness games. You will be walking around albeit in a big circle and on guard to when the music will stop so you can quickly sit down.

Jumping rope is an excellent way to lose weight and tone up. You can jump rope alone. You can jump rope the traditional way or try to jump rope bringing the rope backwards and trying to jump. You can use a longer jump rope and play games you used to as a child such as Double Dutch.

Another fun fitness game is to pass the small orange from chin to chin. Once you pass the orange to another’s chin, make sure you have to race back to a specific area so you get moving. You will share many laughs and fond memories with this game.

There are so many fitness games you can play. Have fun making up your own fitness games as well.
