Space Saving Exercisers

Have you ever wanted to purchase an exerciser for your house but felt you could not because of space limitations? This is a problem for many people who want to utilize various fitness tools but find they take up too much room. The good news is there are plenty of options available to you that will enable you to exercise on a regular basis without the need to take up a whole lot of space.

Stair steppers are among the smallest fitness machines around. They come in several shapes and sizes, all of which are relatively space saving. Some are equipped with hand holds that are situated in an upright position, thus making it possible to hold onto something while you use the stepper. Others, however, are quite small and compact. These units do not contain hand holds, or at least not in the way one might expect. Instead, the two pedal steps are located side-by-side without a central pole or handlebars. Exercise bands may be included and are attached to the bottom of the unit. This makes it possible to hold onto the handles attached to these bands and exercise the arms while working on the legs. These units can be stored under a bed or against a wall quite easily. Both types include a means by which to check both time elapsed and calories burned.

Upright exercise bikes also make a great alternative for a useful fitness workout. They don’t take up as much space as other types of bicycles and can often be stored against a wall and will fit in tight places. Some models even fold for even more convenience.

Treadmills, while they take up quite a bit of room, also fold for convenience. When not in use it is possible to store such a fitness machine comfortably against a wall.

Free weights can be stored easily in a closet or under a bed when not in use. Dumbbells are easy to store and require absolutely no assembly when used.

Jogging trampolines are also easy to set up and store. They require no assembly after their first time of use and can easily lean against a wall or fit into a closet. They are also very light and enable users to jump or jog without any trouble.
