Description

  • Place two sets of cones 30 feet away from each other.
  • Behind one of the line of cones, place two wooden blocks.
  • Have the participant stand at the starting cone line, opposite from the blocks.
  • The tester will signal "Ready? Go!", and simultaneously starts the stopwatch.
  • The participant runs as fast as possible to the other line, picks up one of the blocks, returns to the other line, and places it behind the starting line (the block should be placed on the line carefully and not thrown on the ground).
  • The participant quickly turns around, picks up the second block and runs across the line as fast as possible.
  • The tester stops the stopwatch when the participant crosses the starting line.
  • Perform two to three trials. Record the fastest time to the nearest tenth of a second.
