I just finished my 7th month of my new workout lifestyle that includes regular exercise and proper nutrition. I have lost 55 lbs so far (on my own) and I am hoping this challenge will help push me into my healthy BMI range. I am 37 years old, married with three beautiful kids (19, 8, 5 years old). As you can see, I have spent over half of my life so far raising kids! I was so used to putting myself last that I wound up over 240 lbs. I was unhealthy and incredible unhappy....so I did something about it!
I look forward to daily workouts and losing the next 40 lbs and seeing just how much my life will have changed by then. Happiness truly does start with yourself. If you're happy with yourself, it's so much easier to be happy with everyone else in your life.
I love my treadmill. I love using it for hill walks, jogs or doing HIIT. It took me a while to enjoy strength training but now that I'm getting the hang of it, I am starting to look forward to those workouts too.

Skiing, exercise/fitness, cooking at home and reading. I love to watch movies but I find myself on the sofa less and less each day. :)
To go from 188 to 159 by the end of June. It's aggressive for me, but I know I can stick to my plans.

What Motivates Me
Smaller clothing sizes, being able to wear skirts in the summer, being able to outrun my kids!!
